We did it! We are finally here, in Macomb Illinois. The house is great, it was very dirty and crapy when we got here but we cleaned it up. Now its just a little crapy. The entire Chicago Atlantis team can sleep here in king size beds, it won't be a problem. We haven't done much so far, besides getting settled, buying furniture, get our phones, internet, groceries, keys, classes...
People are nice, we are all together in this big house, I like it. We might get bored pretty fast because there is not much to do here besides playing beer pong. And wine pong is not even an option, we cried a lot in front of the wine section at Wal-Mart. Right after we cried in front of the cheese section... That was just before we cried in front of the bread section...
So I have a few questions for you guys:
What's with the cheddar, sugared bread, book prices and air conditioning? After a week here, I am hungry, broke and sick...
But I can't wait to go to Chicago, do some sightseeing, take some pictures, see the rest of the group and buy a #&@% lot of decent food.

You may know, but there is a town in northeastern Wisconsin called Marinette. It's about 50 miles north of Green Bay, on the Wis/Mich border. I grew up there and have a Google Alert for the word "Marinette" so you showed up. The town was named after a French trapper's indian wife and people are somewhat uncertain of the origin of the name. However, because you have the same name, it can't be that uncommon - wonders of the Internet.
hahahahah "now its just a little crappy." and you dont like cheddar cheese?! jesus. yeah, books suck, buy em on amazon. and i believe there was a long period of time where many of us had no hot water in france. air conditioning is a luxury! lol
